Accreditation Information
MTU
degree programs are not designed to meet any local, state or national
license requirement. If you are seeking a degree to be licensed by a
local, state or national agency, please check with the appropriate
licensing agency for the acceptance of our degree; or for employment,
please check with your employer for the acceptance of our degree before
enrollment in any of our programs.
There
is great controversy over the issue of accreditation. Our students may
place a great emphasis on accreditation and other students place no
emphasis on accreditation.
Though MTU! is not accredited at this
time, it has obtained authorization to conduct business.. In order to
obtain this authorization, MTU! has committed to and is actively
pursuing accreditation in the near future.
It will take MTU time to achieve accreditation; this is true for any educational institution.
We
commit to our students that we will vigorously pursue accreditation
from appropriate agencies, which have been approved by a Theological
Assoication. In the meantime, we pledge to structure our tuition
accordingly and to seek private funding for scholarships.
Although
we believe that accreditation is not necessary in order for Millennial
Theological University (MTU)! or any legitimate learning institution to
deliver an excellent educational product and, though we believe
accreditation is not necessary for most other legitimate opportunities
for students, accreditation is important to our students; because it is
important to our students, it is important to MTU!
